English
Captain Karlo is a licensed RYA Yachtmaster Offshore 200GT captain with STCW and Commercial Endorsement. He is also a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer and SSI Instructor, an award-winning photographer, European Champion in underwater photography, and a certified drone pilot. Drawn to the sea from an early age, Karlo grew up in Croatia, where countless family holidays along the Adriatic coast shaped his lifelong connection with the ocean. What began as a childhood fascination soon evolved into a deep passion for sailing, diving, and visual storytelling. Alongside his corporate career, Karlo steadily developed his skills beneath and above the surface—exploring the underwater world through diving and photography, and experiencing the sea in its purest form through sailing. These pursuits allowed him to discover the oceans from a unique and holistic perspective, blending technical expertise with artistic vision. Karlo has sailed extensively across diverse waters, including the Caribbean, France, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Greece, Croatia, Turkey, Thailand, Morocco, and Tunisia, combining professionalism, safety, and a deep respect for the sea in every journey.
